Use these materials to compliment your study of our solar system.

Includes:

Space Tracing: I recommend printing these onto cardstock and laminating. Put them in your Language area with tracing paper and clips to hold the papers together. Provide markers for tracing on the lines. Consider a Sharpie marker and watercolor paints. You can also use these as coloring/painting sheets.

Space Shuttle Moveable Paper Craft: There are a few different ways to prep this activity. You can print onto cardstock and have available with scissors, crayons, and glue. Alternatively, you can use paper fasteners to attach the blast. Or you can print onto colored construction paper and have as a pin-poking work.

Moon Cards and Counters: Print these moon and moon rocks onto cardstock, laminate, and cut for prolonged use. This adds a point of interest to your math area!

Space Addition: I recommend printing this file onto cardstock. I like to back the base sheet with sticky sheet cork and put a little hot glue on the backs of the stars to prevent them from scooting around. This can be used in a couple of different ways. Two children, who are practicing 1-1 correspondence, can use as a game by taking turns rolling a die and adding stars to space. Alternatively, children who are doing addition equations, can use the stars to find the answers.

Nebula Art Posters and Cards: Consider printing and laminating the posters to hang during your study and have the small cards nearby to match. Use these as conversation starters and art inspiration.

I Am An Astronaut: Put these ID badges on your shelf with a marker, hole punch, string.
