Montessori Math Bundle 2

Montessori Math Bundle 2
This bundle includes:
Robot Cards and Counters: Print these robots and hardware onto cardstock, laminate, and cut. Extra hardware included.
Counting Snail Game: Included is a color game board and a blank. Print and laminate the color version and have available with one or two dice and game pieces. Children take turns following the path to the center. In addition, you can print the blank versions to have available with dice and drawing materials. The child rolls and colors in the corresponding number of squares. Play until they reach the center.
Linear Counting Shopping Lists: Show child that each item on the shopping list has a price. (This price is written next to the item in it’s corresponding bead stair color). Make two bead stairs either with paper beads or the real beads if you have them. Child gets each bead bar that they need according to their list, and they connect them in a “snake” (much like The Snake Game). They then continuously count to find the answer. I put the answer on a sticker on the back of each shopping list so a child can check their work.
Addition Word Problems and Counters: This is a great activity for an adult to do with children or for a reader to do on their own. Keep the corresponding counters in their own containers for easy access. Read word problem, child uses counters to make addition word problem and solve.
Large Number Cards: This printable set includes number cards 1-9, 10-90, 100-900 and 1000-9000. Use these to make new numbers for The Bank Game, operations equations, reading four digit numbers, the large card layout or the 45 layout in conjunction with the golden bead set.
Printable Golden Beads Set: There are so many possibilities with this! This is great to use if you are on the fence about splurging for the real thing and you want to test it out. I print on cardstock, laminate and cut. Keep them organized in their own containers and use in conjunction with the Number Cards. You can make the demonstration tray, tray of nines, the exchange game and more with this set.
Bank Game Objects and “Prices”: Use these cards with the Golden Beads (either the real deal or the paper ones included in this bundle). The children choose an object to “purchase” and build the price with the beads. You can also use these with the Stamp Game when children are ready.
Printable Stamp Game and Mat: Print onto cardstock, laminate and cut out. I highly recommend using 5/8” Velco tabs in each column and on the numbers to help keep the board organized. Use this material for operations. If need be print a second mat to lengthen for longer equations.
Stamp Game Paper: Use this color-coded paper for recording operations problems.
Number Scroll Paper: This paper is for children to write their numbers, in numerical order and proper decimal columns, starting with the number 1. Print and cut out many copies to put on your child’s supply shelf. You can get them started by showing them how the paper works. Start by writing 1 in the righthand column and continue down. Once you reach 10, there will be a 1 in the 10s column and a 0 in the units. There will always be a zero in the units column at the end of the page, that is a clue for the child to know they are still on track. Continue to add sheets and the scroll will grow! Allow them to unroll it occasionally to celebrate how far they have gone. The goal is to reach 1000 (or beyond!).
100 Board Extensions: This is a 5 page download with extensions to use beyond the 100 board. Included are a blank, one filled in completely, two with random numbers missing, and one with even numbers missing.
Printable Multiplication Bead Board: Print on to cardstock, laminate and cut out. I highly recommend using 5/8” Velco tabs in each square and on the dots to help keep the board organized. Use this material for multiplication 1-9. Extra red “beads” included. Also, an equation sheet.
Number Tower Templates: This includes a colored master and two options for student sheets. One has colored borders and one is left blank for the child to color. These squares represent squared numbers and multiplication times tables. Children fill in each square, color in the corresponding bead stair color, cut and assemble into a tower.
Clock Kit and Booklets: To make the clock, use the master as a template. Child cuts all pieces out, glues numbers in place, uses a pin punch to poke holes in the clock and hands and secures them together with a paper fastener. Glue the five bead bars all around to represent the minutes on the clock. Use the clock to inform your answers in the clock booklet.
Time Cards: These cards can be printed and children can color and draw in the times for these activities. They can then be turned into a book. They can also be laminated and put out with a dry erase marker to be used over and over again.
