This bundle includes:

1. Rhyming Cards (L): Print on cardstock, cut and laminate for prolonged use. This set includes 12 pairs. It’s fun to sing “Down By The Bay” with them.

2. Syllable Sorting (L): Print on cardstock, cut and laminate for prolonged use. Use these cards to teach counting syllables (or claps). I like to pair this work with a pair of mittens to dampen the sound and add a point of interest.

3. Compound Words Set 2 (L): Compound words are formed when you put two or more words together to create a new word. Print onto cardstock, laminate, and cut these cards use them to introduce this concept to your students.

4. Word Family Wheels (M): Print on cardstock and laminate. Poke hole in designated spot and fasten pairs together with paper fasteners. Spin the wheels to create new words.

5. Three “Interactive” Easy Readers with “Objects”(M): Includes three easy readers. The Cat's Hat, The Bug's Game, and Pig and Hen's Fun. I use these in two ways. One is to print off paper versions for children to cut, glue and read. Have child cut pages out and cut all the pictures out. Reading each page, they then glue the corresponding picture onto the page. Assemble the book in order and staple - your very own take home easy reader!

Additionally, I print on cardstock and laminate. Cut the pictures out close to their edge lines. Place velcro behind the pictures as well as in the space they go on the pages. the child lays the pages out in order on a work surface, reads each page and places pictures where they go.

Words to read include beginning trick words, CVC words, CCVC words and magic e words.

6. Vowel Blends with Objects (L): This file includes 8 vowel blends based on the Montessori green sandpaper phonograms. Print onto cardstock, laminate, and cut out these cards to use for a language sorting work. There are 4 object pictures for each sound.

7. Easy Reader Action Cards (M): Cut these out and leave in a basket or bowl. Child reads cards and performs the action. This is even fun played with a reader and non-reader! Words to read include beginning trick words, cvc words and magic-e words.

8. Trick Word Book Cards (M): You can use these two different ways - and I do in the classroom. First is print them off, laminate. Introduce three new words at a time (flashcard style) and hang them on a "word wall" for children's reference. The additional way that I use them is I print them off on normal paper, give child 3 words at a time. They cut them out, glue them on index cards, hole punch the corners and continually add them to their "Trick Word Books."

9. Fortune Teller (L): Print and fold to create this childhood favorite activity. If you don’t remember how to fold these then google “how to fold a paper fortune teller/cootie catcher.”

10. Miss Muffet Poem Prompt and Extension Activity (L): Print the poem onto cardstock and laminate for prolonged use. Consider finding objects to put in a basket to act it out as well. The extension activity is creating an individual book based on the poem.

11. January-April Seasonal Pinpricking Templates (L): This file includes templates for January, February, March and April. It is an 8 page download. Print onto construction paper and add to your language shelf with pinpricking tool and felt mat.

12. Handwriting Cards (M): Print on cardstock and laminate. Provide these cards alongside a wooden writing wand or dry erase marker. Child starts at green dot and arrow and forms letters.
