This bundle includes:

1. A-Z Scavenger Hunt: Print the color letters on cardstock, cut and laminate for prolonged use. Hang these all around your classroom or home. Have copies of the documentation sheet available for the children with clipboards. They can walk around to search for each letter and cross them off as they are found.

2. Phonetic ABC Booklet: Colored master copy and uncolored student copy included. I like to print master on cardstock and laminate and hold together with a metal book ring. Meant to be trimmed in quarters (4.25” x 5.5”). Have full page packets available for students - they can trace letters, color in pictures, cut along lines and staple together, or keep as “cards.” Letters are in scrambled order to discourage predictable memorization but feel free to order the master in any order you wish! You can also cut these and laminate them for use as cards instead of booklets.

3. Printable Letters: These printable letters correspond to Montessori Sandpaper Letters. They can be used for many of the same lessons. You can use them with physical objects or printed pictures.

4. A-Z Objects: There are 104 hand-drawn objects to be used for Initial Sound Matching, I Spy, or other early language games. Each sound has 4 corresponding objects. These can used with Sandpaper Letters, Moveable Alphabet, and the Printable A-Z.

5. A Family Picture and Word Cards: Print pictures and words on white cardstock in color. Trim to size. Sit with child and name the pictures. Give one word card at a time and have them read word and match with pictures. Words in this series are all a families (at, ad, am, an, ap, ag).

Another extension is to use the pictures for the child to write the words with the Movable Alphabet - use the black word cards as the control.

6. Middle Sounds E, I, O, U Picture and Word Cards: Print pictures and words on white cardstock in color. Trim to size. Sit with child and name the pictures. Give one word card at a time and have them read word and match with pictures. Words in this series are middle sounds (E, I, O, U). Another extension is to use the pictures for the child to write the words with the Movable Alphabet - use the black word cards as the control.

7. Magic E Pictures and Cards: Print out pictures and words on cardstock and laminate. Show child each the red word cards first. Have them read them - explain some are Real words and some are Silly words. Then show pictures and explain that we are now going to be reading Magic E words - where the magic e on the end makes the vowel say its name instead of its sound. Then have child read black cards, making sure to say the vowels name instead of its sound because of the magic e on the end. Match with picture. Another extension is to use the pictures for the child to write the words with the Movable Alphabet - use the black word cards as the control.
