This downloadable paper is for children to write their numbers, in numerical order and proper decimal columns, starting with the number 1. Print and cut out many copies to put on your child’s supply shelf. You can get them started by showing them how the paper works. Start by writing 1 in the righthand column and continue down. Once you reach 10, there will be a 1 in the 10s column and a 0 in the units. There will always be a zero in the units column at the end of the page, that is a clue for the child to know they are still on track. Continue to add sheets and the scroll will grow!

Allow them to unroll it occasionally to celebrate how far they have gone. The goal is to reach 1000 (or beyond!).
